SMARTFLEX EmS is our innovative Electromechanical 100 kN flexure testing machine, a compact and versatile tester specifically designed for laboratories wanting to perform fully automatic displacement and strain control tests in a small space.

SMARTFLEX EmS is a stand alone equipment perfect for deformation/strain controlled tests for high ductility materials as FRC – Fiber Reinforced Concrete.

SMARTFLEX EmS benefits from the environmentally friendly Electromechanical Servoactuation (EmS) technology that limits on-going maintenance, minimizes noise output and ensures high accuracy without any compromise on performance.

  • Innovative Design: The smart reverse design of the servoactuator, coupled with pendular roller arms, makes easier the sample positioning and test set up .
  • High Performing: The electomechanical servoactuator ensures high accuracy under displacement control.
  • Compact and Smart: The reduced dimensions and the presence of wheels, coupled with 100 kN capacity enables to perform the most advanced tests in a small space as mobile or temporaty laboratories.
  • Fully Automatic: The EmS machine automatically performs displacement controlled or stress-controlled tests and record all test data; all without any interventions from the operator.
  • Environmentally Friendly and Accurate: EmS technology does not need large and noisy air compressors or hydraulic pumps, drastically reducing noise levels and general maintenance ensuring high control of load/displacement speed.

Note: the machine is equipped with a 100kN load cell and pendular rollers for three point flexural test execution. To carry out test on FRC according to EN 14651 and ASTM C1609, it shall be coupled with specific accessories that shall be ordered separately (see accessories).

Note: the equipment requires a specific jig for adapting 100kN load cell for calibration. The load cell and redout unit shall be ordered separately. (see Accessories).

Easy test set up
