New and improved Resonant Column by Wykeham Farrance
Wykeham Farrance, the soil mechanics division of CONTROLS Group is pleased to launch a new and improved Resonant Column that will meet the needs of any commercial laboratories wishing to expand their testing capabilities to include both Resonant Column and Torsional Sheer testing.
Building on the existing system that combines the capabilities of a Resonant Column and torsional device into one compact and convenient unit, we’ve listened to feedback from our customers and adopted the latest advancements in technology to deliver a new testing system that is:
- More robust, sturdy construction with lower plate now built in stainless steel increases longevity.
- Easier to use, the integrated high resolution 7” colour touchscreen makes it easy to monitor cell, back and pore pressure.
- More intuitive with a completely redesigned software. The complete system includes a high-quality PC supplied with pre-installed intuitive Windows-based software that can perform both Resonant Column and Torsional Shear tests.
- More capable enabling upper and bottom drainage to be performed.
