Description
This apparatus, when connected to a suitable display or data acquisition system, provides an electrical signal directly proportional to the volume of water flowing through the unit. The apparatus comprises a piston connected to a 25mm travel linear transducer and sealed against a precision-machined calibration chamber so that the linear movement of the piston is exactly proportional to the volume of water in the calibration chamber. The apparatus includes the panel with reversing valve system to measure the water flow in both directions.
For use with the Automatic triaxial system another version is also available: 29-WF4412 Automatic volume change transducer for remote flow control. This model is fit with automatic micro-electrovalve for flow inversion by remote control in place of the manual system.
